If you hike to Cameron Falls you will see this beautiful area. A great place to take your family over the rocky terrain set amongst the fir and birch trees. Sometimes this overflow occurs. I spied this rushing water exiting from the side of the river just beyond the falls while walking on the rock shoreline. I couldn’t get a good photo until I crossed to the other side of the falls and began a walk along the riverside. Those immense fir branches curving and almost touching the flowing water caught my eye, I had to try and paint this beauty and capture the fast flowing currents of the overflow.
The actual watercolour painting is stretched over wooden stretchers and is 24” H X 18” W. Painted on 140 lb Cold Press Arches paper.
