This image was created from a panoramic photo I took on site while on a photography workshop at Peterson Point Lake Lodge, an hour and half north east of Yellowknife. On my approaching to Caribou Bay by boat when we stopped my photography instructor said” You wont be able to capture the Bay with such a bright sun”. Suddenly, the sun disappeared behind these dramatic clouds making it possible to capture a panorama of the entire Caribou Bay. This three foot wide watercolour sold at the 47th Street Ary Gallery for $3,000.00 at the opening night.
