Downtown Raven has a touch of humour in it. The raven is sitting parked on a no parking sign watching a garbage can beginning to overflow on a very cold day and waiting for something to scavenge from it.. It was seemingly transfixed even though I was very close to it. I had been trying for a good photo of a raven for a long time so I quickly removed my gloves and finally caught one as the moon was coming up and the street lights had turned on. This painting captures the tree it possibly swooped down from and the magical early evening twilight.
